Riva Blinds — Custom Blinds & Curtains

1. About Riva

Riva is a Bunnings-owned brand of custom-made blinds and curtains. All Riva products are manufactured in Australia by Windoware Pty Ltd, who also operates this website and the Riva designer on behalf of the Riva brand. Payment for Riva orders is taken by Bunnings — in store at the Special Orders desk of any Bunnings Warehouse.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The designer and your account

The Riva designer lets you build custom blinds and curtains to your own measurements. You can design without registering — your work is saved against an anonymous session — or create an account to access your designs from any device.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.

3. Measurements are your responsibility

Every Riva product is custom-made to the measurements you enter. Please check every measurement carefully before submitting your order — we recommend following our measuring guides and measuring each window twice.

Because each product is made to your exact specifications, we cannot accept responsibility for products made to incorrectly supplied measurements, and custom-made products cannot be returned for change of mind.

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST. "From" prices represent the smallest available size in the most economical fabric for that product. The final price of your design is calculated in the designer based on your size, fabric and option selections, and is confirmed at the time you pay at Bunnings.

Prices may change from time to time, but the price of an order you have already submitted and locked will not change.

5. Ordering and payment

Ordering a Riva product works like this:

Build your design in the Riva designer and review it on your designs page.
Submit your design — we'll email you a PDF copy together with your order reference number.
Take your reference number to the Special Orders desk at any Bunnings Warehouse to pay.
Once payment is confirmed, your order goes into production at Windoware's Australian workshop.

Submitted orders are locked. When you submit a design, its reference number is sent to Bunnings, so the order can no longer be edited. If you need to make changes, you can clone the order into a new design with a new reference number from your designs page.

An order is not accepted until payment has been made at Bunnings. Unpaid submitted designs simply expire — you won't be charged for a design you never pay for.

6. Manufacture and delivery

Riva products are cut, sewn and assembled in Australia by Windoware Pty Ltd. Orders are typically manufactured and despatched within 10 business days of payment confirmation. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary with demand, fabric availability and your location.

7. Returns, faults and consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Because Riva products are custom-made, we cannot offer returns or refunds for change of mind or for incorrectly supplied measurements. If your product arrives damaged or faulty, contact us at info@rivablinds.com.au with your order reference number and we'll make it right.

8. Warranty

Riva products are covered by a ten-year warranty on operating mechanisms and fabric colourfastness, honoured by Windoware Pty Ltd. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use; it does not cover damage from misuse, incorrect installation, exposure beyond the fabric's rated use, or normal wear and tear. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Fabric samples

We offer free fabric samples, shipped Australia-wide, so you can see and feel a fabric before you order. Samples are for personal, non-commercial use and sample orders are subject to fair-use limits. Colours on screen are indicative only — always confirm with a physical sample before ordering.

10. Intellectual property

The Riva name and logo, the Bunnings name and logo, this website, the designer and all content on it (including images, text and software) are owned by or licensed to their respective owners and are protected by Australian and international intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce them without written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the website or designer for any unlawful purpose.
Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Submit false or misleading information when placing an order.
Access or attempt to access another customer's account or designs.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of the website or a Riva product is limited to the resupply of the product or the cost of its resupply.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
