1. Who we are

Riva is a Bunnings-owned brand of custom-made blinds and curtains. All Riva products are manufactured in Australia by Windoware Pty Ltd, who also operates this website and the Riva designer on behalf of the Riva brand.

In this policy, "Riva", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Windoware Pty Ltd as the operator of the Riva website. We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to design, make and deliver your order:

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number, when you create an account or submit a design.
• Account details — your login email and encrypted credentials if you register an account.
• Designs and measurements — the products, fabrics, window measurements and room names you enter into the designer.
• Order details — your order reference number, item details, pricing and order status.
• Delivery details — your address, when you order free fabric samples.
• Technical data — device and browser information collected automatically to keep the site secure and working well.

3. How we use your information

• To save your designs and let you return to them on any device you sign in on.
• To manufacture your custom-made products to your exact measurements.
• To email you a copy of your design and order reference when you request it.
• To process payment and fulfil your order through Bunnings (see section 4).
• To send fabric samples you've ordered to your delivery address.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• To improve the designer, our fabric range and the website.

We will only send you marketing communications, such as our newsletter, if you opt in — and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Bunnings Group Limited — your order reference and order details, so you can pay for your order at a Bunnings Warehouse or through Bunnings online, and so your order can be reconciled once paid.
• Windoware's production team — your design specifications, so your blinds and curtains can be manufactured in Australia.
• Service providers — including Google Firebase (authentication, database and hosting) and our email delivery provider, who store and process data on our behalf under their own strict security obligations.
• Delivery partners — your name and address, where needed to deliver fabric samples or finished products.

5. Storage and security

Your information is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to authorised personnel who need it to fulfil your order or support your account.

We retain order information for as long as required to honour our warranty and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can delete saved designs from your account at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Make a privacy complaint — we'll respond within a reasonable time, and you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function — such as keeping you signed in and remembering your design session. We may also use analytics to understand how the designer is used so we can improve it. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of the most recent change shown above.
